The Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and delivering Socura's marketing strategy, ensuring every marketing activity supports pipeline growth, revenue generation and brand development. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, working closely with Sales, Partnerships and the Executive Team to align marketing with commercial objectives while leading a specialist marketing team.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and execute Socura's marketing strategy.
- Create and manage the annual marketing plan and campaign roadmap.
- Align marketing activity with sales objectives and revenue targets.
- Develop service positioning, messaging and value propositions.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Manage the marketing budget to maximise return on investment.
- Develop and deliver event strategies, exhibitions and sponsorship activation.
- Manage external agencies, suppliers and marketing partners.
- Produce regular executive reports on marketing performance.
- Lead, coach and develop the marketing team.
- Continuously improve marketing performance through data, insight and innovation.
Experience and attributes required
- Experience leading B2B marketing within the technology or cyber security sector.
- Strong commercial awareness with a focus on pipeline and revenue generation.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and external agencies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A proactive, collaborative and results-focused approach.
