The role
We are recruiting a Mid-Market Account Manager to formalise commercial ownership over our rapidly growing private sector mid-market portfolio (organisations between 500–2,000 users across manufacturing, logistics, tech, and legal fields). Working hand-in-hand with our dedicated Customer Success Management (CSM) team, your core mandate is to ensure commercial retention, eliminate churn, and proactively execute cross-selling metrics.
Duties and responsibilities
- Commercial co-ownership with CSM: Partner seamlessly with our Customer Success Managers. While CSMs own day-to-day technical delivery, platform tuning, and account health, you completely own the commercial relationship, contract renewals, and whitespace expansion in an atmosphere of mutual, cross-team support.
- Whitespace cross-selling & ACV expansion: Utilise our live HubSpot Whitespace Matrix to systematically identify coverage gaps in your clients' digital estate. Drive predictable Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) by cross-selling add-ons, including Threat Exposure Management and Managed Phishing & Awareness Training.
- Improving security posture: Transition client renewal conversations from transactional technology costs to holistic risk mitigation. Educate IT Directors and CISOs on why endpoint MDR alone fails to satisfy strict cyber insurance mandates and client supply-chain audits.
- CRM & pipeline hygiene: Maintain flawless data records within HubSpot. Ensure all active renewals and expansion opportunities are tracked with 100% accuracy to maintain a tight, predictable 30-day pipeline forecast for leadership review.
Experience and attributes required
- B2B account management experience: 18 months+ managing a B2B client portfolio within IT services, SaaS, Managed SOC, or Cyber Security.
- Commercial acumen: Demonstrated success in structuring commercial renewals, handling pricing pushback, and managing short, high-velocity cross-sell sales cycles.
- Collaborative mindset: A proven history of working harmoniously alongside Customer Success or Technical Account Managers, valuing a supportive ecosystem over isolated "lone wolf" dynamics.

- Location: Cardiff, UK / Hybrid Remote (3 days per week in the office)
Remuneration & commission structure
- Base salary: £45,000
- On-target earnings (OTE): £90,000 (Double OTE / Uncapped 50/50 Split)
