Modern Slavery Statement

Modern slavery encompasses slavery, servitude, human trafficking and forced labour. Socura Limited has a zero tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency in all business dealings and to putting effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery taking place within the business or our supply chain.

About Us

Socura is here to help make the digital world a safer place and change the way organisations think about cyber security. We blend our technical expertise and industry experience with a people-centric approach and work right alongside our clients to guide them along their cyber security journey.

With innovation in our DNA, we’re building a culture that challenges the status quo and pushes the boundaries to deliver high-value cyber security services for our clients. We believe that standing alongside our clients, and the wider cyber community, and doing the right thing is what gets the best results for our business.

Our Promise

Our driving purpose is to help clients succeed. We do this by providing specialist expertise and experience that helps organisations find the most optimal route to achieving their business goals. Whilst our team loves to work on new projects, there are sometimes occasions where we have to politely say no to an engagement. This can happen when we believe the clients desired approach presents serious risk of failure, and despite our best efforts, cannot be improved. We work with honesty, openness and integrity and take our responsibility for our client’s success seriously.

Policy & Procedure

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our company. Our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our company relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner.  All internal documentation is held on our management system which is available to all employees.

These include:

  • Recruitment policy
  • Whistleblowing policy
  • Code of employee conduct

Suppliers

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values and ethics, we have in place rigorous selection, due diligence and tender processes which help ensure our suppliers and their supply chains are slavery free. On an annual basis, all suppliers undergo a robust approval process, where they will either be approved for another year or rejected and not used again.

We encourage anyone, including colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers, customers and clients to report in good faith any issue or concerns about potential unethical business practices, such as fraud and bribery or slavery and human trafficking.

Socura operates a supplier policy and maintains a preferred supplier list.  We conduct due diligence on all suppliers before allowing them to become a preferred supplier. This due diligence includes an online search to ensure that organisation has never been convicted of offences relating to modern slavery. Our Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking policy forms part of our contract with all suppliers and they are required to confirm that no part of their business operations contradicts this policy.
