Andy Kays named ‘One to Watch’ in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2025

Cardiff, Wales, 9 October 2025 - Andy Kays, Socura CEO, has been recognised as ‘One to Watch’ in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme for 2025. Socura is a UK-based Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider that protects many of the nation’s biggest NHS trusts, councils, and private companies against cyber threats.

Andy was selected for leading Socura through an incredible year, during which it doubled its managed service customer base and was rated world-class for satisfaction. In 2024, Socura was chosen as the delivery partner of CymruSOC, the UK’s first National Security Operations Centre, and has continued to see success supporting the security needs of organisations in sectors including financial services, manufacturing and construction.

The Top 50 was created by LDC, the private equity investor that is part of Lloyds Banking Group, in partnership with The Times. Now in its eighth year, the programme continues to celebrate the drive and ambition of Britain’s best and brightest entrepreneurs. This year, the programme received almost 700 nominations, showcasing the exceptional individuals who are building successful, growing medium-sized businesses right across the UK.

The business leaders featured in The LDC Top 50 for 2025 are making a powerful impact by creating jobs, making a difference in the communities they serve, championing sustainability and diversity, and expanding internationally. Operating from 67 towns and cities across the UK, they span every sector of the economy, whilst collectively they employ almost 10,000 people and generate combined revenues of £1.2 billion.

The ‘Ones to Watch’ are those individuals who are making significant progress and scaling their businesses. They are leaders who excel in their fields, create a positive impact on their customers and employees, and stand out for their potential to reach even greater success in the years ahead.
