Socura has achieved the Palo Alto Networks NextWave Cortex XSIAM MSSP Advanced Specialization, alongside the corresponding Product Specialization, recognising its expertise in delivering managed security services using Cortex XSIAM.
Effective from 18 October 2026, the achievement marks another important milestone in Socura’s partnership with Palo Alto Networks and reflects the technical capabilities underpinning its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service.
The dual recognition covers both the managed security services expertise and the underlying technology specialisation, strengthening Socura’s position within the Palo Alto Networks NextWave partner ecosystem.
Effective security operations require more than deploying the right technology. Organisations also need the expertise to interpret security signals, investigate potential threats and take appropriate action when it matters.
Cortex XSIAM brings together security data and analytics to support threat detection, investigation and response. Socura builds on these capabilities through its 24/7 security operations, experienced analysts and ongoing work to refine detection logic and response processes around each customer’s environment.
This combination is central to Socura’s approach to MDR. Automation and AI-assisted analysis can help accelerate investigation and reduce repetitive tasks, allowing security specialists to focus their attention on meaningful threats and more complex decisions.
The aim is to give organisations access to advanced security capabilities backed by people who understand their environment, supported by a service that continues to evolve as their needs change.
The latest specialisation follows another important milestone in the relationship earlier this year, when Palo Alto Networks published a joint whitepaper exploring how Socura and Palo Alto Networks approach modern security operations.
Titled Socura and Palo Alto Networks Bring Calm to Modern SecOps, the whitepaper examines how the two organisations combine Cortex technology with Socura’s operational expertise to help UK organisations strengthen their security operations.
It covers Socura’s approach to improving threat visibility, tailoring detection to the risks facing individual organisations and using automation to support faster investigation and response. It also explores how AI-assisted workflows can help analysts work more efficiently while keeping human expertise at the centre of security decisions.
The whitepaper draws on practical experience from Socura’s MDR service, including examples of threat detection and containment, the integration of security telemetry and the ongoing tuning of detection and response capabilities.
Together, these themes demonstrate why the relationship extends beyond technology alone. The platform provides important capabilities, while the people, processes and operational experience behind the service help turn those capabilities into meaningful security outcomes.

At Socura, our focus remains on helping organisations improve their security posture through a combination of technology, expertise and a personal approach to service.
Achieving the Cortex XSIAM MSSP Advanced Specialization is a welcome recognition of the capabilities our team brings to that work. It also reflects the value of working closely with technology partners to make the most of the tools available to modern security teams.
We’re proud to continue developing our relationship with Palo Alto Networks and look forward to building on this progress as we help more organisations detect, investigate and respond to cyber threats with greater clarity and confidence.
